Assessments
Educational Assessment Educational assessments, including standardised testing & individual assessments, determine where your child is placed in relation to grade norms in areas of English - Spelling, reading, writing; and Mathematics. In addition, testing may establish underlying disability & identify next options in supporting your child's academic journey.
Gifted Assessment We consult & assess in acceleration, radical acceleration, differentiation, and twice-exceptionality. Schools are sometimes unaware a child is gifted or that they need adjusted learning; having feedback from a gifted specialist is sometimes all that is needed to set a gifted learner back on the appropriate path to success.
Pre-Psychology Assessment If you currently know what testing you require & are waiting for a clinical psychologist or paediatric appointment, engaging our services may be a beneficial first step. We may be able to undertake some of the needed academic-related assessment in our space and make a detailed referral to a clinical psychologist.
Our senior education specialist delivers assessments including Dyslexia screenings, some psychological-based assessments, educational formative & summative assessments, and Gifted related testing. Assessment options as well as barriers and successes can be discussed at your initial consultation. We are keen to reengage your child with a love for learning.

Education Support
Is your child having difficulties regulating their emotions? Championheads may be a part of a combined team process in identifying the function of the behaviour. There are innumerable education-related reasons that hamper a child from having positive school experiences. These include, work being too difficult, which causes them to give up; or schoolwork not being challenging enough, leaving them to become bored and underachieve.
Sometimes, the way a child learns affects their ability to understand instruction. The first step in alleviating this barrier to successful learning is identifying need. Championheads includes your child in discussion regarding learning preferences, individual plans, and other areas involving their learning; ultimately supporting your child toward engagement of successful educational outcomes.
